  Very unhappy with Smith Properties. My daughter submitted a "repair" sheet on July 31, 2015 and lived there for an entire school year without ANYTHING being repaired. She lived the year without a door knob! The dryer lint screen was melted (before she moved in) and needed replaced. NEVER replaced - this could be a dangerous situation. When I called about replacing smoke detector batteries and/or replacing it if it was broken I was told "We can't fix every single thing that's wrong!" I would think possible fire hazards would be a priority, let alone NEVER fixing them! They ignored the students who pay BIG rent. Then, after not fixing anything all year - they nit pick/nickle and dime the students and end up keeping the deposit. Beware of Smith Properties - borderline SLUM LORDS.
